Marina Malvada is known for her 'Space Scapes' as well as her colourful abstract work. She is a member of The International Association of Astronomical Artists and CARFAC and has a BFA with honours from OCADU where she majored in drawing and painting in the Department of Experimental Arts.
Ms. Malvada exhibits across Canada, the US and abroad. Her work has appeared in the September Issue of Vogue Magazine, The Huffington Post, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and The Daily Mirror. Some well-known figures who've owned Marina's work include Col. Chris Hadfield, Damien Hirst and Mario Lopez.
Malvada's interpretations of astronomical and geological phenomena incorporate the laws of physics while retaining a connection to the Abstract Expressionists of the late 20th century. She considers her work to be 'Postmodern Action Painting'.
